Welcome! Make yourself a cuppa and have a look around.
I have been rather quiet this last year, and I think it’s time to publicly share that I have started a Master of Divinity degree at Harvard Divinity School! So here is that announcement, finally, along with a reflection on my current life season as I discern my way, weaving together my passions music and spirituality into a singular vocation. It is a journey with grief and uncertainty, as I let go of my dream/pursuit of a performance career and learn to trust my Inner Knowing that something truer and more expansive is around the corner for me. Also included are some songs I wrote for class in Spring 2022.

The final Imperfect Monthly Musical Offering of 2020! A new seasonal favorite, “Hippo for Christmas,” featuring Luke Concannon on guitar, with a special appearance of Stephanie’s bassoon from her days of yore. Happy Holidays!
Stephanie and Luke recorded an Irish trad song to share for November, “She moved through the fair,” and highly recommend a podcast episode on Thanksgiving from the Wampanoag tribe’s perspective.
This month’s sharing is Debussy’s setting of “Beau Soir,” with my friend Diane Braun.
September’s imperfect monthly offering is Schubert’s “Frühlingsglaube.” A reflection on the changing of seasons as we cross the autumnal equinox and welcome a little more night each day.
Stephanie joins Barn Opera’s Social Distance Opera project in Don Giovanni, premiering on Saturday, August 22 at 7:30pm EST. August’s artist feature: Castle of Our Skins, a Boston music organization that promotes and celebrates Black excellence.
A diversion from the usual Classical offering, Stephanie and Luke Concannon offer an Irish trad song. July’s featured artist: Darius Christian Jones.
This imperfect monthly musical offering features a song by composer Turina, “Olas Gigantes,” performed with my friend Diane Braun, as well as an a cappella sing of “I’m gonna walk it with you” by Brian Claflin and Ellie Grace.
Schubert’s “Ave Maria”, performed alongside Bryce Sady. Reflections on the healing nature of sound and music, and a lament for its absence during the COVID-19 lockdown. The first of a series of imperfect monthly musical offerings.
