Stephanie joins Barn Opera in presenting the first of a series of Social Distance Opera projects: Don Giovanni. It will premier on August 22 at 7:30pm at socialdistanceopera.com.
On February 6 and 8, Stephanie will sing the role of Cherubino in a new production of Le Nozze di Figaro that explores the timely themes of Mozart’s comic masterpiece. Directed by Andrea Huber, conducted by Tian Hui Ng.
Boston Opera Collaborative and Longy collaborate once again on an evening of opera and revelry in a cabaret-style setting. The seven short operas in this year’s production include six brand new commissions and one U.S. premiere. Stephanie returns to Italy for Music Academy International's young artist program, this year singing the role of Gretel under the baton of Maestro Christopher Larkin in this age-old tale set to Humperdinck's lush score.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart based his masterpiece, Don Giovanni, on the legends of fictional libertine and serial seducer Don Juan. Reimagined as the infamous womanizer Don Giovanni, Mozart and his librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte created a predatory philanderer, consumed entirely by his own desires—leaving havoc in his wake. This tragic comedy, performed by outstanding singers in the original Italian with orchestral accompaniment, and featuring NEMPAC students, is sure to enchant audiences with its magnificent score and timely story.
In this production, Stephanie covers the role of Zerlina, a young and punchy townsgirl, and sings in the opera chorus. Stephanie will perform Zerlina, along with other covers, in a FREE sneak-peek performance on Sunday, June 17 at 2:00 PM. Other performances will take place on June 21 and June 23 at at 7:30 PM at Faneuil Hall.

Cendrillon is a chamber operetta with dialogue in three acts by Pauline Viardot based on the story of Cinderella. The work, for a cast of seven with piano orchestration, premiered in Viardot's Paris salon on April 23, 1904, when she was 83, and was published later that year. It has been described as a retelling of the Cinderella story with Gallic wit, Italianate bel canto, and Viardot's own unique charm and sense of humor.
Stephanie appears as one of the evil step-sisters in this sweet and beautiful rendition of Cinderella. Don’t miss one of the three performances!

Hailed as “a little masterpiece” by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Del Tredici, The Beautiful Bridegroom is a one-act comic opera for six women. Based on an 18th-centry play by Ludvig Holberg, this Mozart pastiche tells the story of a widow who has been searching for a young husband…not for her two marriageable daughters, but for herself!

RAPTURE (David Wolfson). As a mother eagerly awaits The Rapture that will deliver her to Heaven, her doubtful and resentful daughter realizes that the two of them are not so different after all.
Stephanie will appear as Tibrino in Haymarket's performance of Cesti's L'Orontea. Cicognini’s artful libretto tells of the Egyptian Queen Orontea who decrees that she will never fall in love. No sooner has she made this proclamation than the humble painter Alidoro arrives at her court fleeing the assassins of the Queen of Phoenicia. Orontea falls for him instantly, as does one of the ladies of the court, Silandra. Jealousy, passion, and deception ensue with a cast of kidnappers, drunken servants, and pirates all accompanied by some of the most effortlessly ravishing music of the 17th century. June 3, 3:00pm at Roosevelt University’s Ganz Hall, Chicago.
Stephanie joins Boston Camerata for their revival of The Play of Daniel. "Our powerful, highly-praised production returns to Boston as part of a national tour. The themes of justice and of truth spoken to power are front and center as the Jewish captive Daniel confronts the tyrannical Belshazzar. This magnificent musical play of Daniel, composed eight centuries ago in Beauvais, France, was transcribed from the original manuscript source and newly staged for modern audiences by Artistic Director Anne Azéma."
